Nothing is better than to sit and watch a show on Netflix with my family. What would be a better thing to do while watching a show, than eating homemade popcorn. Last year I found a popcorn popper at a thrift store for $1.50. At that price, I had to buy it. To my surprise it actually worked. Now I can make all the homemade popcorn I could ever want and make it any flavor I want. I recently did a review for Yukon Root Syrup. This stuff is great on popcorn. In fact, I will be making more tonight. Without further ado, here is our slightly healthy, popcorn-making recipe.
- Popcorn kernels
- Yukon root syrup
Place a small handful of popcorn kernels into your popcorn popper and watch it pop!
I like to pop mine into a large bowl covered in a bag. This makes it easier for the next step.
Pour a little bit of Yukon root syrup on the popcorn. Remember a little of this stuff goes a long way.
Now sprinkle on the cinnamon.
Now take the bag, close it up, and shake it.
After it’s all mixed really well, place it in a large bowl and serve it up to your family.
Do you have a popcorn favorite? Let me hear about it in the comments.
